I am proud to be a founding member (and current board member) of The Santa Barbara Journalism Initiative, a Knight-funded effort to fund independent, in-depth and explanatory journalism for the South Coast of Santa Barbara County.

I am a board member at the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum.

I'm also proud to work at Vox Media Inc (publisher of The Verge / SB Nation / Polygon).
