Khan Academy Brand & Visual Language Design Direction

Senior Design Manager

At Khan Academy, I lead the Brand & Visual Language team. We regularly collaborate with Product, Philanthropy, Content, Marketing, and Comms. We specialize in building holistic experiences that 'Bring out the Joy' for our learners and teachers. Pictured here is a glimpse of the new Visual Language (Khan Academy's first); including Visual Design Systems, Social templates, using a Brand Spectrum that was desisgned to flex to meet our audiences and learners where they are.

AOKOA

Curator & Designer

Curated an exhibition at Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Los Angeles. 8 artists were prompted to interpret and respond to the persistent design language of RV exteriors, the American notion of 'wilderness' - and 'RV Culture' in general. The title of the exhibition, and branding are a riff on the (now culturally antiquated) KOA Kampground chain.
